Production Manager
Job Description
Adam Linens Ltd are currently looking for a Production Manager to join an outstanding textile production company based in the Rochdale area.
We are looking for an individual who is hands on, and is looking for a role with a company who are growing year upon year.
The majority of the job duties will be, but not limited to:
- Supervising production activity
- Strategically managing production team and holding daily briefings to allocate tasks and discuss workload
- Managing stock control and reconciling with our data storage system
- Producing regular reports and statistics in stock levels
- Training new and existing staff members
- Identify and organise staff training and monitor staff performance
- Maintaining health and safety standards around the warehouse including hygiene and security
- Track and create production schedules
- Review and hold staff accountable for performance
- Receive complaints, resolve problems for smooth business operations
- Review bills of material and shop orders for accuracy
- Report and respond to product and process and non-conformance issues.
Reporting to: Director
Salary: 27,600 per annum
Contracted hours: 37.5 hours/week
Experience: Preferably 5 Years in textiles but not compulsory
Qualification: Level 5 NVQ or Equivalent
Machine Mechanic
Job Description
A skilled machine mechanic will be responsible for setting up, troubleshooting, fixing, and maintaining industrial machines such as vacuum compressing, pillow filling, fibre carding, pillow role packing, fibre feeding system (Bale opener) and conveyor lines. Duties of this role include set up, troubleshooting, repairs, and preventative maintenance of the machines, performing unplanned maintenance on production equipment while it is being used, and scheduled maintenance on equipment while it is being serviced.
Machine mechanic must be able to carry out necessary maintenance and servicing, read and understand instructions, identify issues, changing or repairing parts, testing, and adjusting equipment whilst utilising various hand and power tools, electric meters, and material handling instruments. Machine mechanic will also assist machine users correct machine setup and use, respect safety regulations and keep your workspace tidy and organised.

Salary: 25,600 per annum

Pillow Filling Machine Operator
Job Description
A Pillow filling machine operator should be meticulous and detail-oriented to have good manual dexterity, focus, and patience, as well as the capacity to remain composed under pressure. The role requires a capacity to evaluate quality or performance; the capacity to build on one's own understanding of manufacturing operations and procedures.
Operator will be responsible for inserting correct fibre into the bale opener, filling shells with correct weights, and placing them on to the conveyor for the machinist to be sewn. Operator will also be making sure that accurate blowing speed is used to minimize over filling and prevent waste of fibre.

Overlock Machinist
Job Description
A skilled sewing machine operator should be meticulous and detail-oriented to have good manual dexterity, focus, and patience, as well as the capacity to remain composed under pressure. The role requires a capacity to evaluate quality or performance; the capacity to build on one's own understanding of manufacturing operations and procedures.
Duties of Overlock Machinist include adhering instructions, assembling various filled products, such as cushions, pads, pillows, drawing threads through the machine and adjusting parameters for various jobs, overlocking clothing, samples, or other objects together, preventing product damage, comparing completed work to the pattern directions and conducting quality assurance inspections.

Digital Print Operator:
Job Description
The position of Digital Print Operator is responsible for operating digital print equipment to fulfil the requirements that meet the customer’s needs and expectations while maintaining the highest level of quality and productivity.
Main duties include but are not limited to: -
- Operate digital print equipment to optimal production standards
- Produce digital products to customer specifications and quality standards
- Maintain accurate production records
- Rip digital files for production
- Load/unload materials and finished product from machine
- Make efficient use of inventory on hand
- Perform routine maintenance on equipment
- Other relate duties as required
- Fully understand and adhere to all relevant Environmental, Health and Safety, Human Resources, Quality, Security policies and procedures

Job Description
