A base valance hides the divan, the bed legs and everything that migrates under the bed. This one fits small double beds at 122x190 cm with a 40 cm drop, box pleated at each corner and halfway along each side so the skirt hangs in crisp folds rather than limp fabric.
The 68 pick polycotton weave is the practical middle ground: enough cotton for a soft finish, enough polyester to come out of the wash uncreased. It sits under the mattress, so fitting takes one lift per side.

Washing & Daily Care
- Machine Wash Cold or Warm: Wash on a gentle cycle at 30°C–40°C using mild, liquid detergent to protect fabric fibers.
- Wash Like with Like: Separate light and dark colors. Wash bedding sets separately from clothing with zippers, hooks, or rough textures to prevent snagging.
- Skip Harsh Chemicals: Avoid chlorine bleach and fabric softeners. Softeners coat the fibers over time, reducing breathability and natural absorbency.
Drying & Finishing
- Tumble Dry Low: Line dry in the shade whenever possible to preserve fabric lifespan. If using a dryer, select a low-heat, delicate setting and remove promptly to minimize wrinkling.
- Ironing: Warm iron while the fabric is still slightly damp for a crisp, hotel-quality finish, or embrace natural, relaxed texture straight from the line.

- Spot Clean Inserts: For duvets, mattress toppers, and pillows, spot clean small stains with a damp cloth and mild soap. Air them outdoors in indirect sunlight regularly to refresh the filling.
