A cot bed duvet in the standard 120x150 cm size, with a choice most toddler bedding doesn't offer: three tog ratings. 4.5 tog for summer and warm nurseries, 7.5 for most of the year, 9 for cold rooms and winter babies. Add the matching cot pillow, or buy either piece alone.

Small children sweat more than adults, so the microfibre construction matters: it pulls moisture away and lets air through, keeping the bed dry. The filling is anti-allergy and anti-bacterial fibre, and the duvet survives repeated machine washing without going lumpy or leaking fill.
