A mattress topper is the cheap fix for a mattress that's too firm, too tired or too lumpy to justify replacing. This one comes in two thicknesses: 5 cm for a comfort refresh, 10 cm (4 inches) for a genuinely different bed.

The microfibre filling is sewn into quilted sections, so it can't migrate and leave you sleeping in a crater after a month. Elasticated straps hook over each mattress corner and hold the topper flat through restless nights. Airflow through the fibre keeps heat from building up, which is where memory foam toppers usually lose people.
